Segpay Donating Payment Services to FSC
FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Digital payment processor Segpay announced today a new partnership with the Free Speech Coalition (FSC), the adult entertainment industry’s national trade association. Segpay is donating its payment and consulting services to FSC, including “processing all up-front and recurring membership dues, along with fraud prevention services and regulatory compliance expertise,” Segpay said in a statement announcing the donation of its services.
“Free Speech Coalition is on the front lines, not only lobbying, but also providing resources that protect the health and safety of adult industry workers,” said Cathy Beardsley, CEO of Segpay. “FSC is often the only resource that many of these workers have, and we are glad to do our small part in helping FSC promote its cause and increase membership, so it can expand the important service it provides.”
Beardsley was elected to the FSC Board of Directors last year. FSC, which is dedicated to the growth and well-being of adult entertainment businesses and workers, has a broad membership base that includes representatives from every sector and “almost every major company in the adult industry,” Segpay noted in its statement.
“Working closely with FSC’s dedicated team of industry professionals really opened our eyes to the organization’s important mission and we are happy to provide our services to help support this cause,” Beardsley added.
In other FSC-related news, voting in the election for seven seats on the FSC Board of Directors closed last night. FSC has not yet announced the results of the election.
