Secret Stripper Stumps Subway Authorities
ROMANIA — With gasoline prices climbing the charts worldwide, mass transit is becoming increasingly popular – and perhaps also increasingly eccentric. Police in Bucharest are investigating stories about a mysterious and entrepreneurial woman who strips down to her underwear on underground railway cars and then passes the hat for tips. According to eye-witnesses and a single cell phone camera photo, the moving pole dancer is a “well dressed, attractive, student-like young woman.”
Evidence of her intelligence includes the fact she only dances on trains associated with remote subway stations without guards or CCTV cameras.
Authorities have been frustrated in their efforts to arrest the woman, who plays Tom Jones’ “You Can Leave Your Hat On: via portable CD player while removing her clothing as she dances around a subway train pole.
She then puts her garments back on and accepts tips from a contained passed among the passengers.
Once such passenger told the local press that “I can’t say I didn’t like the show, but I found it unusual. There are lots of kids who travel by underground and I just don’t think it’s proper.”
If located, the young woman faces charges for indecent exposure and public begging.
