LOS ANGELES – Pleasure products manufacturer Screaming O and Woodhull Sexual Freedom Foundation have partnered to support HIPS with a donation of 80,000 condoms. HIPS is a charitable organization providing harm reduction, advocacy, education and outreach to sex workers and drug addicts in the greater Washington, D.C., area. The condoms will enable HIPS to provide even more safer-sex tools.

“Thanks to Screaming O’s donation, HIPS will be able to ensure that sex workers have access to condoms that help keep them safe,” Executive Director Cyndee Clay said. “Due to their generosity, these condoms will be distributed in Washington, D.C., and cities across the country through our partnership networks, addressing a huge gap between what sex workers need and what organizations like HIPS are able to purchase with our limited budgets.”

Known for its dedication to safer and more satisfying sex, Screaming O found itself with an influx of latex condoms and sought Woodhull’s assistance to find an organization in need. WSFF President and Chief Executive Officer Ricci Joy Levy immediately introduced Screaming O representatives to the unique harm-reduction organization and helped facilitate one of the largest product donations in the company’s history.

“Woodhull Sexual Freedom Foundation and our annual Sexual Freedom Summit have maintained a longstanding relationship with HIPS, and it was an honor to help connect them with Screaming O,” Levy said. “This is a new collaboration for us, and we are pleased to see the dedication Screaming O has put forth toward supporting the sex-education community. We look forward to the opportunity to collaborate more in the future and continue assisting organizations like HIPS promote social change.”

The condom donation is the latest of Screaming O’s efforts to support organizations and community members working to promote healthy sexuality. The company recently took part in UCLA’s annual Sextravaganza, an on-campus event dedicated to providing medically accurate and unbiased sexual health and wellness information, as well as awareness of important topics related to healthy sexuality and relationships.
