Satisfyer Inks Deal for Worldwide Use of Penthouse Marks
BIELEFELD, Germany – EIS GmbH, the parent company of pleasure product manufacturer Satisfyer, has struck a deal under which the company has obtained “worldwide trademark rights as of Jan. 1, 2020 for the magazine brand Penthouse,” according to a press release issued by EIS/Satisfyer yesterday.
According to the release, under the deal “EIS not only secures the permanent product usage right for the Penthouse brand but is also the main supplier of all Penthouse stores.”
“The Penthouse brand has a worldwide excellent reputation, so that we are able to offer the best possible service in combination with our two strong brands EIS and Satisfyer we see great opportunities for development to create an even more excellent experience of our products,” said André Bierbass, chief operating officer for EIS.
The deal is part of an ongoing international expansion for EIS/Satisfyer, which in 2020 will include the launches of new lingerie, drugstores and toy lines, the company said in its release.
“The takeover of the trademark rights is a further step for us on the way to international sales activities and thus acquiring new customers with our excellent range of products,” Bierbass said.
In its press release, EIS suggested its collaboration with Penthouse will extend to producing promotional content which features Penthouse models.
“A high demand on the quality and aesthetics are a matter of course for EIS as well as an indispensable standard,” the company stated in its release. “EIS is looking forward to photo shoots with all well-known Penthouse models.”
Satisfyer offers a wide range of pleasure products under several brand extensions, including Satisfyer Men, Satisfyer Partner, Satisfyer Balls and Satisfyer Plugs. The company offers a 10-year warranty on its products, as well as a one-year period for the return of unused products.
