Robert Morgan: A Hobbyist Gone Pro
Robert Morgan admits he’s an average guy who sort of stumbled into entertainment through the back door. Almost as a hobby, he began shooting X-rated videos in 2012 and posting them on Clips4Sale. By late 2015, he had created more than 100 scenes and decided it was time to get serious about his fun. So, he launched the membership site RoyalEmpireProductions.com, devoted to “reality porn.”
The company continues to bridge the gap between fantasy and reality, pairing average guys with girl-next-door performers in POV scenes and realistic scenarios. In less than a year, the company has released eight DVDs, including Chronicles of Father Morgan and Body Art Vol. 1. The studio has worked with such diverse and dynamic performers as Cindy Starfall, Cali Carter, Nikki Delano, Abby Cross, Tia Cyrus, Morgan Lee, Layton Benton, Sadie Santana and Richelle Ryan.
Describe yourself in three to five words.

What’s your favorite pastime when you’re not online?
Watching TV and design. I recently came out with new T-shirt designs for Royal Empire.
What’s your favorite music?
HipHop, because rappers build something out of nothing, and that’s what I am doing with Royal Empire.
Do you specialize in any type of content?
Reality porn scenes that my customers can really get behind and believe would happen to them.
Social media: useful for work, or just a distraction?
Very useful when promoting your site or a new scene, or finding new models to work with.
How does social media factor into promoting REP? Regardless whether it’s your favorite, what’s the most work-useful social media platform you’ve come across?
Twitter is the best social media platform because you don’t have to edit anything before you post it. Facebook is good, too, for all my PG-13 pictures and videos.
Social media is great for me when I am trying to promote my site and a new scene that I just shot, or a new T-shirt design. It also lets me get feedback from my customers on what scenes are hot and what scenes are not.
What advice would you give to guys who think they’d like to perform?
Porn is very hard for guys. If a guy is interested in getting into the business I would say, “first see if you can get your dick hard in front of a group of strangers and then get off.” If you can do that, you might be able to do porn. If you can’t, you are definitely not cut out for this business.
If you could go back in time and give your newbie self one piece of advice, what would it be?
Don’t give up, and remember who you are and what you stand for.
Anything new on the horizon?
Yes: Body Art Vol. 2 and Amateur Snatch
