Rob Reimer Returns to His Roots at Channel 1
WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Marketing veteran Rob Reimer has returned to the first place he called home in the adult industry: Channel 1 Releasing.
As chief marketing officer, Reimer will oversee product development and sales of new and existing novelty brands including Rascal and Boneyard. He also will oversee the company’s marketing activities, distribution channel management and branding efforts. In addition, he will serve as brand ambassador, traveling extensively to conduct product training and attend trade shows.
He said, essentially, “There’s no place like home.”
“It’s extremely exciting to be back at the place where it all began,” Reimer said. “I look forward to bringing my broader range of experience back to Channel 1 Releasing. I’m looking forward to get going and making an immediate impact for the company.”
Reimer began his adult industry career working for Channel 1 as a marketing manager. He went on to work as marketing manager and global events producer at Manhunt, and then served as vice president of marketing and sales at Perfect Fit Brand. At the same time, he became an honor student at Johnson & Wales University in Miami.
“Rob began working for Channel 1 back in 2002 when we were a brand-new company,” said Chief Executive Officer Rob Novinger, who co-founded the company with Chi Chi LaRue. “Since then, [Reimer] spread his wings and made a name for himself at a number of successful corporations.
“We look forward to welcoming him back to begin this next chapter of his career at a heightened role as chief marketing officer,” Novinger added. “He will be a tremendous asset to our company, and we are proud to add him to our executive team.”
