YNOT – Glendale, Calif.-based Rob Black Productions has named adult industry veteran David Peskin national sales manager and head of online video-on-demand marketing.

Peskin spent many of his 15 years in adult product sales with Vivid Entertainment. After rising to the position of national sales manager for Vivid, Peskin left the company two and one-half years ago to launch FetishChatLive.com, a division of Naked.com.

“I am extremely excited to represent the company on all platforms, including selling the high-end comic book parodies from Sinister X and Rob Black Productions,” Peskin said. “The level of excitement and energy I am feeling right now is equal to the way I felt back when I was selling The Masseuse or the Kim Kardashian sex tape [for Vivid].”

In addition to national sales, Peskin will lead Rob Black Productions’ planned webcam studio, which is expected to feature porn stars and nude models in live online performances. Peskin also will head the development of the planned Extreme Nation Live white label product.

“I am excited to have Peskin working alongside me,” studio founder Rob Black said. “It feels like the early days of Extreme [Associates] again, when we were at the pinnacle of our existence. Dave’s salesmanship is the best I have encountered, and over the last 16 years I have met both the good and the really bad. When you have the man who brought Vivid’s sales to prominence, we can know that he will bring that same level of skill to Rob Black Productions as well.”

Black, an AVN Hall of Fame director, co-founded and ran the controversial studio Extreme Associates from 1997 until 2009, when the company was shuttered as part of a plea deal to settle federal obscenity charges. Black served 10 months of a one-year-and-one-day sentence under the same plea. Upon his release from federal prison in mid-2010, he founded Rob Black Productions. The new studio is “dedicated to the production of high-end adult features and internet content, from the Sinister X line of comic parodies to the Extreme Entertainment Network Roku channel,” according to marketing materials.

Peskin said he is happy to be representing the company.

“I am excited to get back on the phones with my distributors and buyers again,” he said. “I have the honor of working with the top parody director and selling the top product, along with our catalog of over 300 Extreme Associates titles and an exclusive distribution deal for the Dirty D product line. I gotta tell ya, I’m fired up.”
