RIP Allan K, Adult Industry Photographer
YNOT – Hollywood, Calif.-based adult photographer and “paparazzo” Alan K, known for his work with EMMReport.com, died of an apparent heart attack May 21. He was 35.A familiar face at adult industry events for 10 years, Allan K (not to be confused with another adult photographer who uses the name “Stills by Alan”), captured the lively porn scene during movie shoots and on red carpets at parties and events in the Los Angeles area.
“I am really sad to hear this news,” said director Will Ryder, who last saw Allan K on the set of his production Not Mash XXX. “He was a very nice guy and oftentimes pitched in and rolled up his sleeves and went to work on our sets, helping out wherever he thought we needed assistance without being asked. Just a real pleasant man, and we will miss him.”
Dominic Ace of the EMM Agency, which specializes in compiling images of adult performers and frequently employed Allan K, added, “This is sad news indeed. Allan had just shot a set on the Bluebird movie Sprint, and he was looking forward to being on the set of X-Play’s Not Charlie’s Angels XXX next week.
“Everyone here sends their condolences to Allan’s family and friends,” he added. “Allan was a good friend whose spirit will sadly be missed, as well as being an integral part of our team from the very beginning. Words cannot express our gratitude for everything he has done for us. We will be forever grateful to him.”
A funeral service occurred Wednesday morning in Los Angeles. A memorial service is scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 30 at Iman (3376 Motor Ave Los Angeles.Ca. 90034).
