Ride-on-top Vibrator Rolls Out Bluetooth Controller
LOS ANGELES – Motorbunny, a motorized ride-on-top vibrator designed for men and women, has debuted what the company believes is a first in its class: a modular controller that allows operation via Bluetooth pairing.
“The development of the Motorbunny LINK Controller has been in the works since Motorbunny first arrived in the market, and we’re pleased to be able to demonstrate our hard work to innovate in a category that hasn’t seen much change in decades,” said brand consultant Craig Mewbourne.
The Motorbunny LINK Controller, coupled with the new MB LINK app, lets users control the speed and frequency of the “buzz” and “twirl” functions from a mobile phone or tablet. Users may select from pre-loaded routines, create and loop their own routines by “drawing” them on a timeline, sync the Motorbunny to music and reverse the rotational direction of the “twirl” function. Riders are able to gain manual control of the unit at any time by manipulating the physical knobs on the controller.
The app is available on iTunes and Google Play.
“We teased the beta version at AVN earlier this year, and it got a very positive crowd reaction,” Mewbourne said. “Now, any Motorbunny owner can enjoy the full range of capabilities and see how this product can transform modern partner play.”
The company is working to finalize internet connectivity so that a Motorbunny can be controlled halfway around the world.
“This will be a major breakthrough for long-distance couples, military spouses and anyone [else] seeking untethered intimacy,” said Mewbourne.
The internet remote interface is expected to debut in 2018 and will roll out automatically for MB LINK app users.
The Motorbunny LINK Controller is available for purchase directly from Motorbunny.com for $199. Some Motorbunny units sold prior to 2017 will require modification to be compatible with the controller. The upgrade is free of charge with the purchase of the controller, but owners must ship their products to the factory.
