Short-form adult content platform RedGIFs has announced Riley Cyriis as the platform’s Creator of the Month for September 2024, an honor designed to shine the spotlight on “diverse creators who are finding success on RedGIFs as well as contributing to making the RedGIFs community an even better place to be.”

“We’re delighted to highlight Riley Cyriis this month,” said Lylli Dupéré, Head of Community and Creator Success at RedGIFs. “Despite an unconventional start, she quickly became a creative force in the industry. Riley’s ability to infuse humor and positivity into her work while remaining authentic is what really makes her stand out.”

As part of the Creator of the Month recognition, Riley has been interviewed for RedGIFs-Creators.com, which serves as “a resource hub for creators, providing increased visibility and exposure for their work,” the company said.

Asked what her favorite thing is about RedFGIFs, Riley said she’s “always really appreciated RedGIFs’ commitment to keeping NSFW content safe and available, especially after Imgur, gfycat, etc., changed their ToS and went full SFW.”

“Spending more time on your platform, I see how much you care about the creators,” Riley added. “The recent update to automatically watermark verified creators’ content with their RedGIFs handle was amazing, even though some Reddit mods are in a fury over it.”

Asked if there was anything she wished she’d been told when starting her journey in the adult industry, Riley admitted to coming into the industry “as close to totally clueless as one can be.”

“I never watched much porn and didn’t even know where to find it besides Pornhub,” Riley said. “I caught on to how to make content and market it properly pretty quickly, but I struggled with naivete and let myself be taken advantage of a few times. Keeping a good relationship with other sex workers and fans is really important, but I was much too trusting of everyone right off the bat. So, I guess I wish I knew that porn is a serious business, despite the social aspects of it.”
