#REC Awards Announce New Date for 2021 Event
MEDELLIN, Colombia – The organizers of the #REC Awards have announced the new date for the event: November 24 at the Aeroparque Juan Pablo II Pavilion in Medellin, Colombia.
“This will be the first edition of the event that is already projected as one of the most important awards in the digital industry, which aims to recognize the most outstanding influencers and creators of adult content,” the #REC awards organizers said in their announcement.
“It will be an unforgettable night that will bring together great personalities and special guests such as Daiky Gamboa, Aida Cortés, Juan Esteban Páez and Gaby Ferrer,” the show organizers added. “In addition, we will have the artists of the moment, such as Andy Rivera, who will offer an amazing show where he will perform his greatest hits throughout this gala that will be full of surprises.”
In addition to announcing the new show date, the #REC Awards announcement reiterated the details of the nominations and voting process, which started on May 6 and will close on November 14.
“The jury staff is made up of 7 renowned content creators, who are characterized by their professionalism and transparency, and will have the difficult task of evaluating each of the nominees,” the show organizers explained.
The process for nominations and voting for the #REC Awards is as follows:
First, look at the list of awards categories, which can be found on the #REC Awards official Instagram account and decide which categories you wish to be nominated in.
On Twitter, follow the official @RecAwards account. Then publish a tweet with the image of the category in which you want to be nominated, along with the following text: “REC Awards I want to be nominated to #{Category} #RecAwards #{Your own twitter handle}.”
The number of times the tweet is shared will be the number of votes your nomination receives – in other words, you will receive one vote in favor of your nomination each time the tweet is shared.
On Facebook, follow the official #REC Awards Facebook page @recawardsoficial. Then create a post with the image of the awards category for which you’d like to be considered, along with the following text: “REC Awards I want to be nominated to #Category #RecAwards #{Your own Facebook nickname/handle}” Just as with nomination tweets on Twitter, each time your Facebook post is shared you will receive one vote for your nomination.
On Instagram, first follow the #REC Awards official Instagram account. Then post the image of the category in which you’d like to be considered, along with the following text: “REC Awards I want to be nominated to #{Category} #RecAwards #{Your own nickname/handle}.” As with the other two social media platforms, each time your Instagram post is shared, you will receive a vote for your nomination.
The number of comments each tweet and post receives will also be factored in to the voting process, in that each comment will equate to one vote (only one comment per commenter profile will be counted).
Once the nomination period has ended, the 10 content creators with the most votes in each category will be officially nominated.
The panel of jurors takes over from there, conducting a rigorous evaluation of each nominee. Each nominee will be assigned between 0 and 100 points, with 0-20 points allotted from five major criteria: Creativity, Interaction, Content, Profile and Professionalism. The content creator who receives the highest score in each category will receive the award, with all winners to be announced at the #REC Awards gala in Medellin on November 24.
