LOS ANGELES, CA — This summer has been rife with big screen and recording industry divorces and break-ups, and the known body count increased today, with Hollywood gossip site PerezHilton.com posting a compromising photo of recently separated rocker Dave Navarro with international mondo mega super porn star Jenna Jameson draped across his lap during the June Erotic LA trade show, which they co-hosted.Navarro, who “parted amicably” from wife Carmen Electra on July 17th after less than three years of marriage, has denied rumors of any involvement with socialite Sarah Howard and posted the answer “no” on his MySpace page three days after their separation in answer to the question of whether he had a new girlfriend.

Nonetheless, the 39-year-old former Jane’s Addiction guitarist and the 32-year-old porn mega star have been acknowledged as an item by Jackie Markham, Jameson’s publicist. Further, the representative admits that Jameson has split from her performer/director/producer husband, Jay Grnida, and has relocated from Paradise Valley, AZ to Los Angeles, CA.

Although fans knew that the exceptionally photogenic couple were having what Jameson referred to as “a very rough time” on her MySpace blog, but had been assured that the two were “working things through and remain best friends.”

Meanwhile, the rocker’s friends are said to have observed that the Jameson/Navarro coupling is “new” and that they are “not officially dating” and his official representatives deny anything is happening at all.

Grdina, who has performed in such videos as the AVN Award winning Masseuse as Justin Sterling, was quoted in the only version of People on Tuesday as saying that he and Jameson “have been together for eight years and have had a great relationship.” He went on to explain that “We are best friends and love each other, but definitely need a break. It’s nice every once in a while to change it up. Neither of us is really dating anyone, just having fun.”

Navarro and Jameson met one another thanks to Neil Strauss, the author who co-write both of their autobiographies. Married to Electra in 2003, the couple allowed the world into their private lives on the MTV show Til Death Do Us Part.
