Reality TV Series Showcases BBW Products
SAN JOSE, Calif. – Curvy Girl Lingerie will feature Sportsheets® International’s plus-size offerings on an upcoming episode of the boutique’s reality show, Plus Life.
The episode, which takes place during a pleasure party at the boutique, will feature the Plus Size Doggy Strap, Plus Size Strap-On Harnesses, and other products created by Sportsheets.
Designed for sizes 12 to 30, Sportsheets Plus products feature longer straps, longer and wider supports, wider pads and greater adjustability to assure the perfect, most comfortable fit. Every product is handcrafted in the U.S.
“We are so excited to be a part of Plus Life,” said Sportsheets President Julie Stewart. “We celebrate all bodies, and we strive to design products with the needs of all couples in mind. We also know how important it is for couples to feel beautiful and sexy when using toys, which is why we designed Sportsheets Plus, to embrace and enhance the curvy woman’s body.”
Plus-size intimate accessories in the Sportsheets Plus line are designed to enhance the unique curves of big, beautiful women. Developed by women for women, the line offers couples of size a sophisticated series of strap-on harnesses, sexual positioning tools and sex toys, all while maintaining an eye on fashion, form and function. After all, healthy, satisfying sex knows no bounds.
“We love Sportsheets at Curvy Girl and always have,” said owner Chrystal Bougon. “I’ve been selling their products since I started my pleasure party business in 2004. I love their quality and how innovative their products are.
“I didn’t think I could love them any more … and then they introduced their plus-size line,” she continued. “My customers and I love the plus-size Doggy Strap and their plus-size line of strap-on harnesses.”
Plus Life is a sex- and body-positive series celebrating Americans across the country who are plump, sexy and proud of it. Executive Producer Adryenn Ashley and Bougon accomplish something rarely seen on TV: portray plus-size women in a positive light, as beautiful, unapologetic, empowered, sexual beings who love themselves now — not “50 less pounds from now.”
The series weaves through the lives of the colorful cast of characters who frequent and work at the boutique, ending the season with the annual Curvy Girl Lingerie Fashion Show. Other episodes include a Curvy Girl pole dance class, game nights, boudoir photo shoots and dinner parties with size-acceptance activists.
“I think Sportsheets may be one of the first companies to create products specifically for plus-size bodies, and it’s fantastic they recognize that the plus-size community is so underserved,” Bougon said. “I am so proud to have such an amazing company provide products for our show.”
Plus Life is midway through filming its first season.
