RealDoll to Star in 3D Video
YNOT – Abyss Creations’ RealDoll co-stars in a soon-to-be-released 3D online video. The producers believe the scene is the first of its kind to feature the lifelike mannequin sex partner alongside flesh-and-blood humans.
They expect the video to debut on Bionic Intelligence Studios’ RealDollSex.com later this month.
Set to co-debut with the RealDoll is real girl April Booth, a 19-year-old adult industry newbie whom a Bionic spokesperson called “a blond-haired, blue-eyed living doll.” Booth and the doll spend some quality time together, along with Bionic Intelligence principal and chief male performer Steve Awesome.
Booth admitted she wasn’t sure what to expect when she was cast opposite an artificial girlfriend.
“At first I thought it was going to be kind of creepy [to perform with a doll], but this really was a fun shoot,” she said. “It sounds just like real sex, although I also think I can hear a balloon in[side the doll].”
Awesome said he is pleased with Booth, the doll, the video and the website, which is the fourth in Bionic’s portfolio to offer stereoscopic 3D content.
“We first added [3D] content on ModelTexans, and then quickly followed that with 3D material for HottieCams and GamerChicks,” Awesome explained. “It was only a matter of time before we shot something [in 3D] with our sex doll, as that’s our most popular site and our domestic and foreign subscribers were clamoring for new content.”
As with the studio’s previous 3D releases, the new video was shot in full high-definition, 1920 x 1080 format using two Canon Vixia HF20 cameras. The resulting left and right video was mixed and encoded for viewing through stereoscopic (side-by-side) lenses. Not only are the company’s 3D products available for streaming through the websites, but they’re also downloadable by Nintendo 3DS owners who applied the December 2011 3D update.
“They just download the files and copy them to their SD card,” Awesome explained.
All four of Bionic’s pay sites are promotable through the Abbie*Cash affiliate program. Administered by CCBill, the program pays a 50-percent recurring revenue share.
