Ray Ray LLC, InMelanin Wrap Production on ‘The Office’ Parody
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Adult performer and content creator Ray Ray, the driving force behind Ray Ray LLC, announced that production has been wrapped on Please Hold, a parody of the popular NBC comedy The Office produced in partnership with Hazel Grace’s InMelanin Productions.
According to the announcement, the two companies finished filming in Los Angeles last week.
Ray Ray’s reps at The Rub PR noted in the announcement that making the adult parody of The Office was a “huge undertaking” in which “Ray Ray and Hazel Grace spent months writing the script, casting, and looking for the perfect location.”
Ray Ray and InMelanin first announced the collaboration back in September, along with an Indiegogo campaign to help finance the production.
“This will be one of the biggest budgets I’ve worked with, and we’re going all out with the sets, location, and, of course, star power for the parody,” Ray Ray said at the time.
According to the announcement, Please Hold stars Hazel Grace as “Felicity Peoples,” Robert Gunner as “Francis Marks,” Ray Ray as “Amy,” Lala Ivey as “Phyllis,” Mena Carlisle as” Jazmine,” Maya Ferrell as “Collette,” David Lee as” Elliot,” Ray Black as” Gustav,” Dreads Way as “Marcus,” Adonis Breeds as “Matt,” Rico Reyes as “Roy” and Rusty Nails, JR Cruz, and Harley Haze as extras.
Additional contributors on set included Charley Hart as PA, JR Cruz as Boom Operator, and Semaj Media on B-Cam. According to the announcement, “filming took three nine-hour days at an undisclosed location in Downtown Los Angeles.”
“This is one of the biggest projects Hazel and I have ever worked on, and it was definitely a learning experience,” Ray Ray said. “We’re excited to release it finally in late February/early March and let everyone see what two determined businesswomen can do on their own without a big studio backing them.”
According to the wrap announcement, Please Hold is set for release in February 2025 on DVD, VOD, Ray Ray’s Official Site at RayRayXXX.com and Hazel Grace’s InMelanin.com.
