Qwebec Expo 2016 ‘Jam-Packed with Opportunities’
MONTREAL – The events schedule for the 2016 Qwebec Expo, to take place Aug. 4-7 in Montreal, is “jam-packed with opportunities for business owners,” according to Chief Executive Officer Michael Plant. The trade show hosts industry decision makers in a technology-focused conference that serves existing business owners and prospective start-ups equally well, Plant said.
Festivities start on Aug. 3 with an informal gathering for locals and those who arrive early for Thursday’s Qwebec Master’s Golf Tournament or the need-for-speed YNOT Grand Prix championship kart racing presented by JuicyAds. Attendees who pre-registered attendees will be able to pick up their badges Aug. 4 between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. before heading to the first of three networking cocktail hours hosted by 2much.net.
Also set to take place on Thursday evening: the popular No Dinner Plans Dinner (NDPD) and “Starlights,” the official kick-off party presented by Too Much Media.
Friday begins with registration sponsored by Epoch. The first round of keynote addresses in a new format, Qtalks (sponsored by Adult Force), will take place throughout the day. Also on the schedule: Speed Networking 2.0, Session One, presented by Gamma Entertainment. The show floor will remain open until 5 p.m. A second cocktail hour and a second NDPD follow. Later that evening, Affil4You’s “Higher” party will take place at a lavish nearby club.
On Saturday morning, business will “get serious,” Plant said, with seminars and workshops covering must-know topics including legal issues and social networking. Speed Networking 2.0 Session Two will take place in the afternoon. The exhibit hall will open at 10 a.m., and the ever-popular Meet Market will take place at 3 p.m. Another cocktail party and another NDPD precede “Glorious,” a night of games at the Montreal Forum Games Center. Hosted by Gamma Entertainment and The Dating Network, the event offers approximately 100 popular interactive video games, air hockey tables and pinball machines, among other entertainment.
Celebrating more than a decade of creating business opportunities and entertainment for the adult industry, this year’s expo will be hosted in a brand-new venue, The Hotel Bonaventure. For more information, visit Qwebec.com.
