Quickie Q&A with Web Model Britney Brooks
CYBERSPACE – As a fairly new adult Web model, Britney Brooks is still learning the ropes. The all-natural blonde hasn’t let that stop her, though, from asserting herself and exercising her considerable moxie to build an internet presence that is growing daily, she said.If recently winning the title “Booble Girl of the Month for July 2009” is any indication, fans like her. Of course, it’s hard not to like cute, peppy and personable.
She’s also ambitious.
“I am fairly new in the business, so I did not expect my boobles to be chosen to win [the Booble Girl competition],” she said. “I kind of thought that only enhanced boobles with silicone or saline had a real chance of winning. I have a few tricks up my blouse for the Girl of the Year contest. Who knows, maybe I can win the 2009 overall crown.”
YNOT sat down with Brooks recently for some one-on-one interaction.
YNOT: When did you launch your site?
Britney Brooks: I launched BritneyAtHome.com about three months ago with Vicky Vette. I am part of the Vicky Vette Nation of sites. It’s pretty much the best network for solo sites on the internet. There are seven sites right now and soon to be more.
How are you adjusting to the economic downturn?
I have noticed a change, but it just keeps you on your toes.
Are you doing new things to attract and retain customers?
I love working hard on my site and finding new ways to attract and retain members. I do four live cam shows a week on my site and a live chat once a week. I also take fan requests, so the sets and videos are exactly what they want to see.
Members can even turn on their cams once a week with me and show me what they have with the new cam2cam feature. It’s great. Members not only get all my shows and content, but they also get access to the seven other sites as well and all of their live shows, which they love.
How do most of your visitors find out about your website?
Forums are awesome for traffic. I post a lot on different forums including FreeOnes.com and Phun.org. I also interact with new fans through tube sites and other cam networks.
Have you done any business with any of the bigger adult companies recently? If so, what can you tell us about the experience?
I have shot for Reality Kings, Brazzers, Pistol Whip, Digital Playground and more. They were all awesome. I do cam shows once a week for Reality Kings. They have an awesome network of sites. I really enjoyed working with them all.
How has being named Booble Girl of the Month affected your marketing plan and/or the traffic you’ve seen on your site?
Booble.com is an awesome site, and it has sent lots of traffic my way. I am entered into the annual contest with is Sept. 1-30, so I am really looking forward to that. I look forward to working with them in the future and doing cam shows for them.
What do you do to make your site stand out from all the other Internet models? How do you attract attention to yourself?
I try to make my website as personal as possible. There are so many porn sites out there like Brazzers and Reality Kings. They are great sites, but they lack the personal interaction. On my site, my members can talk to me 24/7 in my forum and can send in requests for what they want to see. They also love the cam interaction. Just like Brazzers, you get more than one site for a membership. At the moment you get seven sites including Vicky Vette, Sunny Lane, Michelle Lay, Rebecca Jessop, Shandra Fay and Sasha Sparks.
What qualities do you value in a photographer? What about a webmaster?
My site has an amateur feel to it so most of my stuff is shot by friends, but I also shoot more professional sets. My webmaster is Vicky Vette, and she is awesome. I had a webmaster before that never updated the site and could care less about the members. Vicky cares so much about the sites and really put her heart into making them the best for members, which I really admire. It’s not just a job to her. That’s how I feel also. It’s so much more than that. It’s about getting to know your fans and creating the best experience possible for them.
What advice would you give to other models who are considering starting their own fan site?
It’s definitely not easy. It’s a lot of work, but it can be an awesome experience. I would say don’t do it unless you are willing to put in 110 percent for members. The best thing about it is meeting so many awesome people.
