YNOT – Presley Hart is a breath of fresh air in the adult industry. Not only is she sexy, but she’s professional and mature. She rarely parties; instead, when she’s not on set she’s usually knitting or cooking.

But don’t let the sweet, petite coed exterior fool you: Hart’s wit is sharper than a Ginsu knife. She’s extremely honest and prone to speaking her mind. Her 5’3”, 98-pound package holds quite a bit of performance dynamite, too: In the industry for little more than a year, she received nods from two major awards shows in 2012.

YNOT: Tell us a little about yourself.

Presley Hart: I’m a 24-year-old Cali girl, born and raised. I love the simple things in life and am a very opinionated and outgoing person. You will almost always find me with a smile on my face.

What or who convinced you take on the adult entertainment world?

I decided to get into the industry after realizing that all of the jobs I have had just were not satisfying me. So after a lot of research, I decided porn would be a great fit.

What other performers have you enjoyed working with the most?

This is one of the hardest questions I get. I love working with so many performers that it’s hard to narrow my list, but some of my favorites at the moment are Logan Pierce, Johnny Castle, Keni Styles, Mick Blue and Manuel Ferrara.

You attended the Adult Entertainment Expo for the first time in January. What did you think of the experience?

Signing [for Smash Pictures] was overwhelming at times. It was amazing to meet my fans and get all the positive feedback and really just thank everyone for all the support. It was very surreal.

You received 2012 nominations for Best New Starlet and Best Actress for your work in The Diary of Love. Where you expecting them?

I am never expecting these things from any of my work. I simply do the best job I possibly can each and every time and hope people enjoy [my performance]. When I found out I was nominated for not one but two awards, I was completely beside myself. It’s a fantastic feeling knowing all your hard work is recognized.

If you could be the star of any XXX parody, what movie would movie would you pick and why?

To be honest, anything comical. I rarely get the chance to play a humorous part and think it would be right up my alley. It really doesn’t matter what movie, as long as it’s funny.

Is it hard to date as a porn star? Are you single right now?

I am indeed single and can’t really answer how hard it is to date while in the industry, due to the fact that I haven’t really dated since I joined. Maybe at some point I will give it a try, but right now I’m very happy with my life.

What do you do in your spare time?

My spare time is spent doing a lot of nothing, for the most part. I knit, read, watch movies, cook and visit friends. Nothing crazy — just a very normal, simple life.

What did you do for a living before debuting in adult?

I worked at a lot of restaurants doing everything under the sun, and for about a year I was doing event coordinating. Waking up and doing the same thing every day was not for me.

If you look into your crystal ball, what do you see happening for you in 2013?

I have no clue, and that is exactly the way I like it. I let things happen as they will happen and enjoy the surprises that come each day.
