LOS ANGELES – Video distribution platform Vuier has taken the plunge into free. The company now offers its premium video-on-demand and live-streaming services to studios and models at no charge.

The services include fully integrated in-player payment processing, an embeddable VOD and live-streaming player, access to affiliate marketers, high-definition VOD encoding, a robust analytics package, optional ad-free videos and unlimited uploads.

According to a Vuier spokesperson, the upcoming CamCon provided the impetus for the move.

“When we decided to sponsor CamCon, we had a meeting in our office and started thinking of what we could do to push our platform forward and make it even more valuable to our clients,” said Brick. “What we all agreed is that too many of our features were behind a pay wall and needed to be set free so that everyone can get the full benefit of the tools and resources we provide.”

Vuier is a standalone software package and cloud video distribution system that eases the workload for professional studios, webcam models, amateur publishers and others who want to distribute their videos to an audience quickly. The platform pays video owners 90 percent of the net profit from every sale.
