Pornographic Pirates Board Carnegie Mellon University
PITTSBURGH, PA – The students of Carnegie Mellon University have a wide range of educational opportunities available to them – and they recently got a lot more interesting. According to Digital Playground, its record-breaking AVN Award nominated video Pirates has been showing to sold-out crowds that numbered in the thousands at the prestigious academic facility.“I don’t think I’ve ever seen people so excited about a movie on campus,” Chloe Connelly, chair for AB Films, which is part of the university’s activity board observed. AB Films promoted the screenings using a campus euphemism for publicly viewed porn and was responsible for the screenings, which began on Sunday, November 20 in McConomy Auditorium. “We were at capacity and everyone I’ve talked to thus far has had a really positive response and said they had a really good time.”
The Jesse Jane epic was co-produced with Adam & Eve and also showcases the talents of Carmen Luvana, Janine, Teagan Presley, Devon, Austyn Moore, and Jenaveve Jolie. Many consider the feature to be the most impressive porn epics to date. Packed with special effects and shot in high definition, the final package has the look and feel of an unusually explicit mainstream Hollywood film. Local mainstream media reported that no previous events held at the Carnegie Mellon University had drawn crowds as large as those attending the three showings of “Pirates.”
Proud director Joone pointed out that “the college crowd represents the people who will be running the country tomorrow; they’re bright, they’re educated, they’re men and they’re women. If this showing is any reflection of our society’s growing acceptance for adult entertainment with high production values, I’m honored to have had an effect.”
