CYBERSPACE – The folks at Pornhub believe in giving their customers wood, but not usually literally. That changed on Arbor Day this year when the company launched a promotion that offers to plant a tree in exchange for viewing adult videos.

In addition to offering a public-service gesture, the Pornhub Gives America Wood promotion also gives America humor.

“This Arbor Day, Pornhub will do what it does best and give America some serious wood by donating one tree for every 100 videos viewed in our Big Dick category…,” a notice on a special page established for the promotion notes. “While you’re watching some nice pieces of ash, you’ll also be helping to spruce America up. (Bushes are optional.)”

Although a beneficiary for the promotion has not been decided upon, a Pornhub spokesperson told Mashable the company is considering the Arbor Day Foundation, Trees for the Future and American Forests.

“At Pornhub, we give a countless amount of wood every day,” Pornhub’s Mike Williams told Mashable. “Playing off that, we saw an opportunity to promote our brand and give back to the community.

“Whatever the species, our trees will grow up to be long and hard, and with any luck, they will go on to spread seed of their own,” he added.

The promotion ends at midnight May 2.
