PHILADELPHIA – An online adult store has kicked off what it believes to be the first bracket-style tournament to pit adult performers against one another in a fan-determined “best of the best” shootout.

The inaugural Battle of the Superstars was designed to answer the question “who is the best of the best pornstar?” To narrow down the selection, a panel of porn geeks employed by competition organizer TLA Raw has chosen 32 of adult entertainment’s most popular entertainers from the past and present.

“We find ourselves steeped in conflict all the time — both verbal and physical — about who is porn’s greatest star,” said TLA Raw Content Marketing Manager Cody Short. “Rather than resort to childish name calling and fist-fighting, as we’ve done so often in the past, we thought we’d present a fairer and more effective way of deciding who’s really the best.

“We chose 32 of the hottest performers past and present — and probably forgot some big names, so please forgive us — and lined them up next to each other in a no-holds barred grudge match,” he continued. “It will be brutal but fair.”

Contenders in each round will be selected by fan voting until only one performer remains. Fans may cast their votes here.

TLA Raw’s affiliate program pays a 10-18 percent commission on four websites.
