RESEDA, Calif. – Sunday’s Porn Star Bowling fundraiser drew more than 300 adult industry insiders and fans together for an evening of sexually charged competition and camaraderie. According to the hosts, the event raised more than $6,000 to benefit efforts on behalf of the adult entertainment industry.

The event took place at Corbin Bowl, which a spokesperson said “was packed with a lively crowd” that enjoyed tournament-style bowling, karaoke and a silent auction stocked with baskets of adult DVDs, books, T-shirts and other premium swag. Fans also bid on high-ticket items including a day on the set with Immoral Productions and a yearlong membership to Kink.com’s sites.

Serious bowlers competed for cash prizes. The team sponsored by Evolved Novelties claimed the top prize of $500.

“Folks were really having a good time,” said Joanne Cachapero, membership director for co-host Free Speech Coalition. “It was great to see so many industry people getting together with old friends and fans. Looks like we may have to do Porn Star Bowling again next year.

“We’d especially like to thank Shy Love for spearheading this event,” Cachapero added. “Also, we’d like to thank each of the LATATA member agencies for volunteering their models, the event sponsors that contributed product, all the performers that gave their time and everyone that came out to bowl.”

LATATA, or the Licensed Adult Talent Agency Trade Association, co-hosted the event. Its members include LA Direct, ATMLA, Matrix Models, Foxxx Modeling, OC Modeling, Type 9 Models and Spiegler Girls.
