It doesn’t get any easier for smart inflatable love dolls, apparently – although one brainy little blow-up babe has had more excitement recently than her makers likely ever expected. Putting the lie to Dorothy Parker’s claim that “Men seldom make passes/At girls who wear glasses,” a dark haired, bespectacled Professor’s Pet blow-up doll has been kidnapped from the Annex Books and Video shop that had been her home since being delivered as stockable merchandise.

Also missing was an unknown amount of cash, perhaps for use during upcoming thief and blow-up doll dates and romantic outings.

Police are on the lookout for two men wearing black hooded sweatshirts and carrying at least one black semi-automatic pistol believed to have broken into to shop sometime prior to 11:00 pm Thursday. Before speeding away in a small two-door car with 20-inch chrome wheels, the duo forced shop workers into the bathroom after lifting the cash and innocent doll.
