Porn Producer to Weiner: ‘Don’t Pull Out’
By Peter Berton
NEW YORK – Former U.S. congressman and current mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner has won the support of Assence Films owner Mike Kulich, despite — or perhaps because of — Weiner’s obsession with sexting. In fact, after Weiner’s most recent distribution of partially clothed selfies, Kulich is hoping to keep the Democrat in the mayor’s race by donating revenues from Assence’s soon-to-be-released XXX DVD, Don’t Pull Out.
“Sex scandals like Weiner’s make it easier for my business,” Kulich told the Huffington Post. “Everyone wants to think politicians are so clean, but they sext and watch porn just like normal people.”
According to HuffPo, the DVD is expected to hit the streets Sept. 1. Kulich has promised at least one scene will feature adult performer Ginger Lee, one of Weiner’s sexting partners. He also has promised to donate 15 percent of the product’s sales to Weiner’s campaign.
Despite the potential for cheap jokes and even cheaper marketing, Los Angeles-based Kulich said his support for Weiner is genuine.
“His private life is his own business and it doesn’t impede his ability to do the job,” the porn producer told HuffPo.
Besides, “Weiner has the perfect name for a porn star,” Kulich said. “I’ve seen his bulge on TMZ, so he’s well-equipped in other ways.”
In fact, should the man also known as Carlos Danger — Weiner’s sexting pseudonym — not win over New York City voters, Kulich is open to offering him work in XXX videos. After all, Weiner already has proven his wiener has staying power on camera.
