LAS VEGAS – Adult performers have been working in Nevada since long before the California condom controversy encouraged adult entertainment studios to move some of their shoots from Porn Valley to Sin City. Ask Jack PlowHer, who lives in Vegas. He has always worked close to home.

“I’m 34 years old and do adult films in my spare time,” he told YNOT.com. “I have a full-time job and am also a full-time student. I am engaged to BBW porn starlet Paige Reign, and we are getting married this summer.”

Ironically, PlowHer’s part-time job began as an offshoot of his fiancée’s career.

YNOT.com: How did you get into the business?

Jack PlowHer: I convinced my fiancée she should get into porn. She was just my girlfriend at the time. After she got into it, she would have friends or acquaintances that needed male talent, so I stepped up to help out. The rest is history.

What was your first shoot like?

My first shoot was with Claudia Marie. I was nervous since it was my first shoot, but she was really sweet and made sure I was comfortable.

What content have you performed in? Any titles we’d recognize?

So far I have done a shoot with Claudia Marie, a scene with Alura Jensen, a scene with Teeda Diora, two scenes with Brandi Mae, one with Anna Anarchy and a threesome scene with Paige Reign and Ava Devine. The scenes with Alura Jensen and Brandi Mae were strap-on scenes.

Is the industry’s increased interested in Las Vegas helping your career?

Since I only do adult films part-time, the shift of the industry hasn’t really helped that much. I have just been fortunate to meet so many wonderful people that have taken chances on me.

From a newcomer’s perspective, what are the secrets of a good on-camera performance?

I wouldn’t say they are secrets, but feeling comfortable with your co-stars and everyone else you’re working with can help make a good scene.

How do you make sure you’re “up for work” when it’s time to shoot?

I usually take one or two enhancements before my shoots.

Is porn a good career?

It is a good career, but isn’t for everyone. It can be discouraging for male talent in this business. Sometimes it’s hard to get work as often as you want. It can also be awkward for some guys to “perform” in front of others.

What are your future goals?

My goals are to finish school and get a good job with my degree and hopefully keep putting out quality adult scenes for my fans.
