Pop-under Ads Make a Comeback
YNOT – Adult advertising network JuicyAds joined the leading edge of what may be a re-emerging trend with the June 7 launch of a new service it calls PopUnder.
According to founder JuicyJay, the company’s PopUnder service is far less intrusive than interstitial ads (full-screen ads that take over entire existing windows) and can be installed as a bolt-on to existing JuicyAds services. Alternatively, the PopUnder service may be used as an individual solution simply by pasting a short snippet of code within the HTML of any website.
During beta-testing, the service got positive reviews.
“JuicyAds PopUnders is the real deal,” Arthur from yobt.com said. “They said we were going to make great money, and once again JuicyAds delivered.”
JuicyJay expounded, saying the service is profitable for clients because the ads are cost-per-thousand-based and drive traffic; therefore, everyone gets paid. Current customers of the service are earning $2 CPM and higher in select countries, JuicyJay noted. There is no cost for publishers to sign up, and a user interface allows clients complete control over their PopUnder campaigns.
“We are excited to launch our PopUnder service for our clients,” JuicyJay said. “With JuicyAds, it’s always about our customers and what will help them increase revenues. PopUnders are something that they wanted, so we worked to develop one of the easiest services in the industry. Any company that taps [our] service will immediately enjoy additional revenue for traffic that is already monetized through banner ads, and it’s a non-competitive revenue stream. It’s basically a win across the board.”
Consumers also win, he added, because JuicyAds’ PopUnders pop once only once per day per end-user.
