Police Locate Thousands of Dollars Worth of Stolen Sex Stuff
PASCO, WA — Robbing adult shops is becoming quite the craze – and a 27-year-old Benton County man apparently didn’t want to miss out on being one of the hip criminal crowd, even if it meant robbing his own employer.Stan E. Turnridge isn’t working for Elmo’s Adult Books and Videos in Pasco, WA anymore – and Elmo isn’t likely to be laughing at what police found in his ex-employees home.
New product inventory estimated to be worth more than $3,000 was located within Turnridge’s abode, presumably sans receipts, and included items as diverse as DVDs, various sex toys, and an inflated love doll.
The search for everything Turnridge removed from the shop is still ongoing, however, and detectives searched two homes on Wednesday hoping to find the contents of a four-page list of stolen items. Detective Sgt. Dave Allen says that most of the items have been located, although some are still missing.
