Pokmi Featured in New Issue of Forbes Magazine France
Pokmi is touting its tremendous success in a just-released feature in the French edition of Forbes magazine, ‘Focus Tech: The Poken Company Wants to Complicate the Access of Minors to Pornographic Content’
The emerging – and award-winning – decentralized streaming platform and NFT marketplace for adult performers and their fans launched earlier this year with the help of megastar brand ambassadors Maitland Ward, Kayden Kross, Abella Danger, Manuel Ferrara and Lane V Rogers and an enticing collection of one-of-a-kind specialty pieces for sale using its native currency, Pokens.
‘’While [France’s] Superior Audiovisual Council requires major X platforms (Pornhub, Tukif, xHamster, Xvideos and XNXX) to prevent minors from accessing their content, The Poken Company offers a white label facial recognition solution to overcome this problem,” writes author Pierre Berthoux.
“The company has developed, with the help of digital ID company Yoti, a technology for age verification on its own Pokmi platform. The latter resembles OnlyFans in every way – especially in paying creators with the purchase of NFT.”
The article emphasizes Pokmi’s use of biometric data to determine users’ age without storing permanent personal information, and the company’s interest in sharing this beneficial technology with other adult entertainment brands. Pokmi also notes that its blockchain structure is also intended to safeguard online creators from illegal reproduction and theft.
“Thanks to our strategic partnerships with security-focused companies with the same values and concerns, our goal with Pokmi is to elevate its users’ experiences quickly and efficiently, with a focus on security and ethical practices,” said company co-founders and co-CEOs Marco Garniga and Nils Lataillade.
“The Forbes article perfectly illustrates our commitment to creating a safer online space to buy, sell and trade content and connect with fans on a deeper, more profound and exciting level, and we look forward to further developing and expanding our brand in 2022.”
