Plus size model, influencer and content creator Romi Chase went viral with a story about discrimination when her Miami landlord upon asking her about her occupation as an Only Fans star, hiked her rent from $2,300 to $4,800 per month.

According to the New York Post:

“I was a model tenant; I never missed a payment, even during the pandemic when my career actually thrived,” Chase proclaimed. “I was quiet and low-key, nothing illegal or suspicious ever went on, and I never had an issue with any of my neighbors.”

The news story hit a chord with the general public who financially struggle in a post-pandemic world.

“It was a 120 percent increase during a time when people were just barely surviving,” the Polish-born beauty added.
