BOSTON, MA — Game-design firm THQ has licensed the Playboy name for a line of branded mobile games.The multi-year deal encompasses both development and publishing rights.

According to dbTechno.com, the games will be non-nude and released globally. The first, “Playboy Games: Pool Party,” is expected to launch during Summer 2008.

According to THQ, the game will incorporate “a set of mini-games depicting animated, bikini-clad Playmates at the Playboy Mansion engaged in pool-party sports. The game is based on actual events held at the Playboy Mansion.”
