Pineapple Support Launches Training Series on Conflict Management & Mental Health
Adult industry mental health nonprofit Pineapple Support has announced the expansion of its Corporate Training Initiative with a new series, “Conflict Management and Mental Health First Aid.” The four-session series, led by licensed Pineapple Support therapist Nicki Line, will hold its first session tomorrow, Wednesday, October 2.
“These sessions are designed to equip participants with the essential skills to navigate workplace conflicts and provide mental health first aid,” Line said. “They are critical for creating a supportive and mentally healthy workplace environment. The ability to recognize a crisis and effectively manage conflicts is key to ensuring the well-being of both employees and the overall company.”
The Conflict Management and Mental Health First Aid sessions are scheduled as follows:
- October 2, at 2pm EST: How to identify an employee in crisis
- October 16, at 2pm EST: Making a mental health action plan
- November 6, at 2pm EST: Distress tolerance skills for the workplace
- November 20, at 2pm EST: Conflict management in the workplace
Founded by performer Leya Tanit in 2018 after the loss of several adult performers suffering from depression and other mental illnesses, Pineapple Support is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States. The organization reports that to date, it has “connected over 14,000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost therapy, counseling, and emotional support.”
“Our training series helps companies better support their employees’ mental health,” Tanit said. “By equipping employees and executives with the tools to handle mental health crises and workplace conflicts, businesses help to create healthier, more productive work environments.”
