Pineapple Support To Attend XBIZ Amsterdam, Host Workshop for Creators
Pineapple Support, the adult industry’s leading mental health non-profit, will attend XBIZ Amsterdam from September 3rd to 5th in the Park Centraal Hotel. During the conference, the organization will host a free workshop on mental health services available to industry professionals.
The creator workshop, “Inside Pineapple Support: Championing Mental Health for Adult Industry Professionals,” will take place on Wednesday, September 4th, from 3pm to 3.50pm (CET) in the Beatrix Room of the conference venue. This free event for creators and performers will feature an open dialogue about mental health challenges in the industry and information about the organization and its mental health services.
Pineapple Support was founded by performer Leya Tanit in 2018, after a string of losses in the adult industry from depression and other mental illnesses. The organization, a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States, has connected over 14,000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost therapy, counseling, and emotional support.
“Sometimes we forget that self-care also includes community, connection, and belonging,” says Tanit. “Join us at XBIZ Amsterdam for this interactive workshop focused on bringing people together and facilitating meaningful connections. Attendees are encouraged to share their experiences, provide feedback, and discuss ways to enhance the support provided to European content creators. This is a unique opportunity to learn, connect, and contribute to the well-being of the adult industry community.”
