Pineapple Support to Host First Pineapple United Club Meeting
Adult industry mental health nonprofit organization Pineapple Support has announced it is gearing up to host the first meeting for “Pineapples United,” a membership club for members of the adult industry the organization launched earlier this year.
This initial meeting of the Pineapple Club, which will take place online on tomorrow, Thursday June 24, at 2pm Eastern time, is open to all Pineapples United members, Pineapple Support staff and board members to discuss how the organization can “provide the best possible support and resources to the adult community,” Pineapple Support said in its announcement.
“We’re excited to announce the very first Pineapples United meeting this Thursday,” said Leya Tanit, founder of Pineapple Support. “During these regular meetings, members will have the opportunity to learn more about PIneapple Support and aid us in providing and achieving the best possible support and resources.”
The following support packages are available to anyone in the adult industry that wishes to contribute for a monthly subscription:
Mango Subscription: $10 monthly subscription
Banana Subscription: $25 monthly subscription
Kiwi Subscription: $50 monthly subscription
Passion Fruit Subscription: $100 monthly subscription
Tanit founded Pineapple Support in 2018, after a string of losses in the adult industry from depression and other mental illnesses. The organization, which is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States, says it has so far “connected over 2000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost, therapy, counseling and emotional support.”
“You still have time to sign up and become a part of our Pineapples United team,” Tanit said. “For a low monthly donation, you will be invited to be part of a committed group of individuals who will be invited to organizational meetings, have your voice and opinions heard and help grow the organization. Your voice matters and we welcome your thoughts on how we can further provide care to our community.”
