Pineapple Support to Lead Mental Health Seminar at TES Prague
PRAGUE – At TES Prague in September, the adult industry mental health non-profit Pineapple Support will host a seminar designed to help adult businesses deal with mental health issues in the workplace, the organization announced over the weekend.
The seminar, “Building Stronger Companies Through Mental Health”, will be led by Leya Tanit, founder and president of Pineapple Support. According to the statement announcing the seminar, the session will “highlight the ways that companies can strengthen the industry and their businesses by supporting mental health.”
“Our industry is more decentralized than ever before, leaving many performers feeling isolated when dealing with stigma, shame, and stress,” Tanit said. “In this seminar, we’ll talk about how mental health crisis affects not only performers, but the companies they work for – because happier, supported performers are better, more effective performers.”
The seminar will address common issues faced by adult performers, the free services available to the adult industry from Pineapple Support and “how a more direct partnership between Pineapple Support and individual companies can help create an environment where models thrive.”
The organization has also announced it will be “teaming up with Silverstein Legal to offer a private space at the show for all TES Prague attendees” where Tanit and attorney Corey Silverstein “will offer for free consultations throughout the show to address legal and counseling needs.” The private suite will be open for both scheduled and walk-in appointments. Those wishing to reserve space in advance should contact Silverstein at corey@silversteinlegal.com, or Tanit at leya@pineapplesupport.com to schedule a meeting.
The Building Stronger Companies Through Mental Health seminar will be held on Saturday, September 14 from 11:00 to 11:50 at the TES Affiliate Conference in Prague. Please visit the seminar’s Facebook event page for more information.
