Pineapple Support Launches Campaign To Educate New Adult Performers and Models
Pineapple Support, the adult industry’s leading mental health resource, is launching a campaign to encourage adult performers and models to share their advice for those just starting out in the industry.
The campaign, titled “What Advice Would I Give To My Younger Self,” calls on adult performers to submit a video giving advice about what they wish they had known when starting out. The videos, which must be submitted before September 30th, will cover topics including the advice they would have given to themselves when getting started, what they would have done differently, as well as tips and tricks for getting started.
“Those of us who have been in the adult industry for a while, know just how tough it can be,” says Leya Tanit, founder of Pineapple Support. “How amazing would it have been to have someone to help you along the way and share advice, tips and tricks? We would like to collaborate with all performers and models, and ask you to share your knowledge, wisdom and advice to those just beginning their journey.”
Tanit founded Pineapple Support in 2018 in response to losses in the adult industry from depression, addiction and other mental illnesses. The organisation, which is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit in the United States and a registered charity in the UK, has so far connected over one thousand adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost, therapy, counseling and emotional support.
Anyone that wishes to take part should visit Pineapple Support for more information. The videos, which should be between 1 to 5 minutes in length, should be submitted before September 30th via the Dropbox link on that page, along with a signed release form.
