Pineapple Support Starts Fundraising Contest for Trip to Curacao
Pineapple Support has launched a month-long competition, conducted in conjunction with WebCam Lab, to raise funds for the organization, the adult industry mental health nonprofit announced Monday.
From now through February 15, the person who raises the most funds for Pineapple Support will win a trip for two people to Lalexpo VIP in Curaçao from March 3 to 6, 2023. Pineapple Support noted that the trip, which the organization values at around $4,000, includes “flights, hotel, event tickets, and food during the event.”
“You can make a difference in the lives of many in our community by creating a fundraising page and winning this amazing prize,” said Pineapple Support founder Leya Tanit. “Requests for mental health services and support are continuing to rise into this new year and we need your support — because no-one should ever feel alone.”
Founded by Tanit in 2018 after a string of losses in the adult industry from depression and other mental illnesses, Pineapple Support is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States. The organization reports that it has so far “connected over 8,000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost, therapy, counseling, and emotional support.”
Those interested in participating in the competition can create a fundraising page by visiting this page on GiveLively.com and clicking “I want to fundraise for this.”
The winners will be announced via Pineapple Support’s Twitter account @pineappleysw on February 20, 2023.
