Phoenix Forum Seminars to Include Mobile Component
YNOT – London-based adult mobile advertising network Reporo will host a seminar entitled “How to Make Money on the Adult Web” at 3 p.m. Friday as part of the Phoenix Forum’s educational component. The presentation is expected to incorporate an overview of the types of products and services finding success in the mobile sphere as well as revenue opportunities that exist for webmaster inside and outside the U.S.
“The mobile adult industry is massive, global and highly profitable,” said Reporo co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Kieran O’Keeffe, who will conduct the session. “If you are a traffic expert, site owner or content seller who is looking to kick-start or expand mobile revenues, we’re here to help by asking the right questions. What services? What marketing? What countries? What works and what doesn’t?”
O’Keeffe said his company’s position gives it a unique perspective on the mobile adult products that are working in each country or region, as well as which features are required for commercial success.
“By the end [of the seminar], you should know how to make more money on mobile,” he said.
By focusing his company exclusively on the mobile adult sector, O’Keeffe has built Reporo into one of the largest and most lucrative mobile adult ad networks in the world. In one year, Reporo grew from less than 100 million ads served per month to 4 billion per month, he said. Prior to founding Reporo, O’Keeffe launched the first mobile shopping applications in 2005 and one of the first mobile social networks (Mwah) in 2006. He holds a bachelor of science degree in mathematics and computer science from University College in Cork, Ireland.
“Unlike most ad networks that offer a pure self-service system, Reporo’s account managers work with our clients, providing information about the competitive bidding situation and on optimizing and targeting campaigns to make sure they are profitable,” he said.
