Phoenix Forum Reveals Education Schedule
YNOT – The education program for the 2012 edition of The Phoenix Forum offers seminars, workshops and hands-on labs covering subjects ranging from general business concerns and legal issues to traffic, billing, website design and photography. Forum attendees can learn how to leverage partner relationships, deal with piracy, start and promote a live-cam business and enter the European market in a collection of 90-minute sessions spread over two and one-half days.
Each year, the forum brings together some of the brightest minds in the adult industry to discuss and share ideas about topics that are timely and relevant to operating and maintaining successful online businesses. Typically well attended, the education sessions also provide attendees an opportunity to meet and interact with their peers.
For added clarity, this year’s sessions are split into two concurrent Fundamentals and Honors tracks utilizing a college coursework naming convention. For example, Business 101 is expected to cover basic information important for those new to the industry, while Billing 301 will address more advanced topics related to processing financial transactions.
Because content piracy remains a big issue for the industry as a whole, this year’s forum will offer two panels discussions of the topic. Piracy 101 will look into prevention tools and processes to safeguard content; Piracy 401 will examine some of the larger-scale legal and legislative issues.
A schedule listing all educational events may be found here.
Speaker spots remain open. Companies and individuals who would like to be part of a panel presentation may email the educational committee.
The Phoenix Forum will take place March 29 through April 1 at the Tempe Mission Palms Hotel in Tempe, Ariz. For more information, visit ThePhoenixForum.com.
