Paul Little Sentenced to 46 Months in Minimum Security
TAMPA, FL — While Wall Street burns and waits for American tax payers to put out the fire, 50-year-old director/performer Paul Little was sentenced to four years in minimum security prison for distributing videos deemed to be “obscene” via the US postal service and internet. Little, known to most by his performance name of “Max Hardcore,” was also levied $7,500 in fines. His company, Max World Entertainment, sustained $75,000 in fines after it and its owner were each found guilty of 10 counts each.
Although painful, the sentence is the minimum that U.S. District Judge Susan G. Bucklew could legally hand out, given that recommended fines ranged between $1.2 and $2.4 million.
At issue were scenes within selected videos which prosecutors claimed depicted Little “shown engaging in violent and extreme sexual acts with female performers.” Among activities jurors were forced to watch and found offensive were vomiting, urination, and rough sex.
Little insisted that the videos chosen for prosecution were labeled and intended for a European market presumably more sophisticated and tolerant in its erotic consumption, and apologized to the court for being forced to watch them.
In addition to time served and money paid, Little was ordered to undergo three years of supervised release and give up all profits from the videos deemed obscene, as well as from all domains associated with them. Max World Entertainment was ordered to serve five years of probation.
