PASS Announces New Membership Program
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Performer Availability Screening Service (PASS) has announced the launch of what the organization called a “groundbreaking new membership program that will now accept all individuals working in the adult industry.”
“As part of its ongoing efforts to provide support, education, and resources for all workers in the adult industry, PASS is launching a membership program to include individuals from all sectors within the industry,” PASS said in the announcement. “This move reflects PASS’s commitment to creating a more inclusive and unified community, recognizing the diverse roles that contribute to the success of the adult industry.”
According to the announcement, the new membership program offers “individuals working in production, performance, production management, and related fields the opportunity to access PASS’s health resources, safety guidelines, and more.”
The new membership program offers a free tier designed to “ensure accessibility for all workers, regardless of financial status.” PASS noted that “individuals are encouraged to contribute what they can to help improve industry health systems and maintain high standards of safety and resources.”
Per the announcement, key features of the new PASS membership program include:
- Inclusive Membership: The program is open to all individuals working in the adult industry, from content creators to production staff.
- Priority Access to Industry Updates: Members will receive early access to important industry news, opportunities to provide feedback on proposed updates on testing requirements, and changes in health and safety standards that affect the adult industry.
- Exclusive Educational Resources: Members will have access to webinars, workshops, and materials that provide valuable information about health, safety, and industry trends. Enhance your skills and knowledge to thrive in the adult industry.
- Discounted or Free Access to Partner Services: Members will be able to take advantage of special offers or discounts from PASS’s partner network, such as medical providers, safety equipment suppliers, and educational programs.
- Personal Health and Wellness Support: Access wellness tips and resources to help maintain mental and physical well-being.
“PASS has been a cornerstone of health and safety in the adult industry. This new membership program is a return to those principles – a way to engage everyone, from performers to behind-the-scenes professionals, to both contribute to and receive industry support and protection,” said Ian O’Brien, Executive Director of PASS. “We are reliant on each other for our health, and we’re proud to take this step toward a stronger, more unified future.”
PASS is holding a town hall on Thursday, April 17 at 11am PST to discuss the new membership program and offer other updates on industry health and safety.
