Pascal White – The Man Behind the Sluts
Pascal White, the brains and brawn behind PascalsSubSluts, a rough-sex site that has women lining up to work with him behind and in front of the camera is a man who knows how to run a business. A consummate professional, he not only has a specific vision on how to run his site, but he knows when to step back and listen to the women he works with.
For a man that makes a living dominating women, that can be surprising, but when you read the interview below, you’ll see his willingness to be inclusive is one of the main reasons why PascalsSubSluts attracts a dedicated female audience and has been successful.
How did you get your start in the industry and why were you drawn to it?
Believe it or not when I was 19 years old, I just showed up at the only porn agency in Belgium, wearing a suit and tie, and to my surprise, they put me on. I knew I had what it took, I gave it a shot, and I got lucky. That’s really it, but I don’t think it works like that anymore!
You have a strong team of women working for you – why do you think women want to work for you and the site?
The porn industry can be a bit of a boy’s club, and that can be frustrating to the women who make the industry what it is.
Sometimes we get models that say, “I never use safe words,” like they’re a bad thing, but they’re actually an important tool for communication. Again, I think it comes down to ensuring your colleagues and co-stars feel heard, that their input is valued, and the vision is collaborative — not a dictatorship. Their ideas are welcome here. My name is on the site, but on set it’s all about them.
What qualities and sensibilities do the women working behind the scenes on the site bring?
I currently work with MariskaX; she films and directs the scenes. But she’s also a fan and knows how to keep a woman’s perspective front and center in the SubSluts style. She’s also very much appreciated by the models that come on set too, making them feel comfortable and accommodated.
Having a “woman’s touch” makes a big difference, and I highly recommend it on any set.
How do you find your performers and why do you hire one over another?
These days, PascalsSubSluts is well-known in the porn community, plus we have a pretty solid female audience. I get so many DMs on Twitter from women wanting to get the SubSlut treatment, it’s crazy. Occasionally we will reach out to a particular model that we absolutely need to have, but mostly it’s them approaching us.
I can’t say there’s a set preference in performers we choose. I think if you commit to a specific type, you’re going to get bored really quick, and then it shows in your work. Obviously, we want women who like it rough; it’s all for them. We work with anyone: first timers who’ve never done porn, all the way to veteran performers with decades in the game. We never quite know what we’ll get out of a performance, and I love the surprise.
What makes your work different than other hardcore out there?
PascalsSubSluts is of course a rough-sex site, but we are all about the woman’s pleasure – not just about showing me being dominant. Of course, I enjoy myself immensely with our SubSluts. But it is all about them getting off, a lot. We also interview each model to explore what they’re into and it sets the scenes we do with them. Consent is key, especially in rough sex, and I think we do a good job of putting the model’s consent front and center each time.
Tell us about the most amazing experience you ever had shooting.
My career really took off when I was casted to fuck the girlfriend of Sean Michaels. Sean was already my hero — smooth, hung, the ultimate pornstar. And I was going to fuck his girl with him right there, watching. It was a lot of pressure. But Sean took me aside, got me to relax, and totally motivated me to do the scene. He didn’t have to do that, but it really helped. I took that experience to heart, in that I want everyone on set relaxed, with no pressure. That’s the key to great performances.
How do you cultivate a set that makes models feel comfortable to explore?
It’s all about communication. Not just in porn, but with sex in general, you need to listen to your partner, in a space where they can freely express themselves. The scene is never set until we talk it out. I think that is why I get so many women hitting me up to shoot; they see girls of all kinds on our site, each empowered with a space to say, “This is what I like; do it like this.” That creates a welcome and comfortable environment.
What is your biggest pet peeve with performers?
I only have one, and it is very reasonable, I think. Don’t flake!
There is a lot of protocols we go through for each and every model leading up to a shoot, and if they’re late or they don’t show up, we have to start all over. It’s like any other job. As long as they show up on time, and are ready to work, I am a very happy man.
What would you tell a newcomer for advice about marketing – you seem to have a real handle on marketing yourself.
There are so many platforms for models to just start doing porn on their own now. But even if you’re doing your own thing, on OnlyFans, out of your home or whatever, don’t be a stranger! The porn community is wonderful and supportive; you never know what opportunities you’ll come across collaborating with other performers. We rub off on each other, literally and figuratively. My interactions with Sean Michaels, and many other sex workers, have made me better at what I do, and have gotten me to where I am today.
What is your biggest source of pride in working for the industry?
Maybe just that I have been able to make a living in this industry, thirty years of sex with countless gorgeous women — who wouldn’t be proud of that?
Where do you plan to be with your business five years from now?
That’s a tough one because even my wildest dreams could not have predicted where I am today. So, I see the next five years as completely wide open. I love what I do now, working with beautiful and adventurous women from all walks of life, and if I do that until my last breath, it’s a dream come true.
