Parodies Offer Surfers Diversion from ‘Generic Porn’
YNOT – Adult studios discovered the popularity of porn parodies several years ago. Since then, filmmakers have given explicit twists to pop-culture phenomena blanketing the TV, movie and graphic novel spectra. Today, many of the major industry awards shows offer at least one category devoted to porn parodies released on DVD.
Online consumers, like their traditionalist brethren, show increasing enthusiasm for bawdy, often humorous, riffs on pop culture. Websites and the affiliate programs behind them have noticed.
FameDollars, the affiliate program that manages the online presences of several adult stars and studios, has never been willing to let a perfectly good trend go un-mined. In fact, in the case of one studio, FameDollars launched an entire website devoted solely to porn parodies: DevilsFilmParodies.com. Stocked with titles like This Isn’t Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Jon and Kate Fuck Eight, This Isn’t the Biggest Loser and This Isn’t Mad Men, the site specializes in … well, “skewering” current TV and movie hits in very raunchy ways. Devil’s Film Parodies’ motto: “Cum and laugh at the same time.”
The latest addition to the site’s catalog is This Isn’t Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2, a XXX Parody. Based on a series of young adult novels about hot, though sexually abstinent, vampires and werewolves, the Devil’s Film movie explores all sorts of territory the source material wouldn’t have dared to tread.
“Parodies are a great alternative from generic porn to entertain our surfers and divert them into a creative niche that can fulfill their fantasies,” said FameDollars Director of Product and Development Magalie Rheault. “Aside from its comedic potential, [a parody] can cater to couples who are into the same shows or movies and want to have some fun with it.”
This Isn’t Twilight, released on the web shortly after the mainstream movie of a similar name premiered in the real world, stars popular porn performers like Capri Anderson, Dani Jensen, Dillion Harper and Keni Styles. These shapeshifters make no bones about their carnal desires, but they do plenty of boning. A safe-for-work trailer is available here.
FameDollars affiliates can make $35 per sign-up or up to 50-percent recurring revenue share for promoting DevilsFilmParodies.com and more than 50 other membership websites.
