AKRON, OH — Chances are good that Mango’s Nightclub will start checking ID from now on, thanks to recent allegations of rape made by a 17-year-old girl who became drunk while partying with the Girls Gone Wild crew at the Akron night spot. The owner of the club, 48-year-old Edmond J. Jaber, has been arrested and charged with the unlawful use of a minor in nudity-oriented materials or performances, felony child endangering, providing alcohol to a minor, and being the keeper of an establishment that has done so.
Jaber was arraigned in Akron Municipal Court and posted a $2,500 bond. Authorities are now looking for a 35-year-old Mango’s employee Holly Everson, who is wanted for child endangerment and serving alcohol to a minor.
According to the 17-year-old girl who filed rape charges in September, she was served multiple alcohol at Mango’s and became so intoxicated that she disrobed and danced on the bar before going into the Girls Gone Wild motor couch, where she claims a cameraman raped her.
