OrbitalPay Offers New Clients $500 to $1,000
YNOT – OrbitalPay will cover at least part of the initial high-risk account-registration fees charged by Visa and MasterCard for all new clients who sign up before April 30. The offer represents a financial savings of as much as $1,000 per client.
The amount of OrbitalPay’s investment will be based on a merchant’s transaction volume, according to a spokesperson.
“For companies already processing over $40,000 a month, OrbitalPay will pay the initial $1,000 fees,” an annoucement noted. “[For] companies under the $40,000 monthly threshold, or for new companies, OrbitalPay will subsidize the initial fees in the amount of $500.”
The 12-year-old internet payment services provider, a subsidiary of Austin, Texas-based Global Electronic Technology Inc., offers a gateway billing solution as well as merchant accounts and check processing. The company specializes in transaction processing for websites that operate in “high-risk” arenas including product sales, membership, video-on-demand and live cams.
