VASSALBORO, ME — While the coffee may or may not be worth a visit, the view has definitely made the trip worthwhile for caffeine-driven visitors to the Grand View Topless Coffee Shop. Now the shop’s owner wants to emphasize the view and downplay the beverages by opening his very own strip club.According to the Associated Press, Crabtree told the Kennebec Journal that his next professional step involves securing an entertainment license for a strip club that would open at 6:00 am and close its doors at 1:00 am.

Given the fight Donald Crabtree survived during February in order to open his innovative coffee shop he is likely braced for the next wave of objections.

Fueled by complaints about the absence of shirts on Grand View baristas, Vassalboro’s town manager has already drawn up a proposed adult business ordinance custom designed to keep Crabtree or any other entrepreneur from offering nude entertainment in the area.

Although the ordinance would spell big trouble for the 300-seat club Crabtree hopes to establish soon, his coffee shop should remain untouched thanks to its pre-existing town permit.
