VAN NUYS, Calif. – Adult studio Evil Angel has named online adult industry veteran Magalie Rheault chief commercial officer. Rheault will assume the new position Oct. 2.

Working with founder John Staglian and Chief Financial Officer Adam Grayson, Rheault will synchronize all revenue-generating parts of the company, including web, broadcast and DVD sales.

Rheault most recently served as vice president of Montreal-based Gamma Entertainment, where she worked for 14 years. There, she oversaw web operations, licensing and strategic partnerships.

One of those partnerships was with Evil Angel.

“Magalie was the French-Canadian interface between Evil Angel and Gamma,” Stagliano said. “She was very insightful with marketing ideas and helped EvilAngel.com grow.”

Grayson added, “We were presented over the summer with the news that Magalie was on the free-agent market for the first time in decades, and it was a decision we didn’t have to think very hard about. We’ve worked closely with Magalie for much of the past eight years as part of our partnership with Gamma, so everyone is very well acquainted. She’s a tremendous addition to our team.”

Although she hasn’t officially begun working yet, Rheault said she already feels at home in her new environment.

“It’s really an honor for me to be joining the Evil Angel team,” she said. “It was an opportunity that I simply couldn’t pass on. Having worked with them for over eight years, I know we have complementary skills that will be put toward growing an even stronger Evil Angel, as well as developing further their prime position in the market.”
