BRENTWOOD, Calif. – You have to hand it to the Eagles guitarist Glenn Frey. Keeping in tune with the classic-rock super-group’s commitment to the 1970s, Frey was spotted buying a good old-fashioned porn magazine at his local retailer in Brentwood.

Frey’s purchase was only slightly out of step with modern technology: According to paparazzi-style images published on TMZ.com, Frey’s selection he came with a bonus XXX DVD. The bonus baffled TMZ.

The gossip rag demanded, “Wait, WHO STILL WATCHES DVDs????”

Frey hasn’t commented, so no one knows for sure whether the stroke mag merited “The Best of My Love.” Looking every one of his 65 years, though, perhaps the aging rock icon might be well advised to “Take it Easy.” One can only hope the XXX publication delivered relief, leaving Frey to savor a “Peaceful, Easy Feeling.”
