Obscenity Charges Leveled Against Max Hardcore
TAMPA, FL — Max Hardcore has had his dick, hands, and bendy straws up a lot of women’s asses during the 17 years of his pornographically professional life. Now the Department of Justice is looking to return the favor, via the filing of long-anticipated obscenity charges in Florida court against the producer, director, and star of videos including Hardcore Schoolgirls and Harder Than Hardcore.Hardcore, legally known by the name Paul F. Little, surrendered to authorities on Wednesday after learning that he is accused of transmitting five brief incidences of obscenity through streaming video clips available in the membership only section of his website, along with another five counts concerning full length videos shipped through the United States Postal Service to Tampa, FL. He is expected to be arraigned in the state on July 12th.
The Justice Department characterizes Hardcore videos as featuring “severe violence towards the female performers participating in the acts,” although it does not indicate that any complaints have been lodged against Little by his co-stars.
Little and his company MaxWorld Entertainment, Inc. are alleged to have distributed “obscene video clips, which were promotional trailers of the full-length feature films available through MaxWorld Entertainment, Inc.” by way of the MaxHardcore.com website. According to the indictment, which can be viewed on TheSmokingGun.com, the clips range between 1:26 and 2:38 minutes in length and appear to primarily relate to footage from a European title. Likewise, the offending DVD shipments concern Pure Max 19: Euro Edition, Max Hardcore Extreme Volume Number 20 – Euro Edition, Max Hardcore Golden Guzzlers 7 – Euro Edition, Planet Max 16 – Euro Edition, and Fists of Fury 4 – Euro Edition.
In addition to any fines and prison time, the government seeks forfeiture of the videos and all gross profits from their sale, as well as all property used in their creation, including the 50-year-old man’s Altadena, CA residence and his web properties MaxHardcore.com, PissedOnPornStars.com, and CatalinaXXX.com.
The 10-count obscenity indictment was handed down by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida, in Tampa, on May 17th and the charges against Little were unsealed yesterday.
A Department of Justice release concerning the indictment states that Little is a “nationally-known director, producer, and star in films featuring acts such as anal penetration, urination, insertion of an entire hand into the vagina or anus, vomiting, and severe violence.” Long known for producing a particularly vigorous and intense form of erotic content featuring the cowboy character of Max Hardcore indulging in sexually forceful verbal and physical interactions with trashily attired young women of marginal sophistication and intelligence, Little’s main site warns potential subscribers that “these fictional accounts do not always exhibit safe sex, or the full range of real life relationships” and that the performers are “intended to be portrayed and understood as fully consenting adults.”
Little’s attorney, Jeffrey Douglas, is not yet responding to media requests for information.
