Nutaku’s “Wild Life” Incorporates Lovense Smart Toys, Haptic Tech
MONTREAL – Late last month, adult gaming platform Nutaku released a demo version of the new game Wild Life, calling it the “first ever mainstream adult RPG Game integrated with sex toys.” A few weeks later, it’s safe to say the game is resonating with Nutaku’s users.
Having built a large and loyal following on Patreon during its development, it’s perhaps no surprise that Wild Life has been well received by Nutaku’s user base, as well.
“The user engagement and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive,” a company spokesperson told YNOT. “It’s been the most downloaded game on Nutaku by more than 10x compared to others since we released it.”
A third-person action/adventure game akin to major hits like Uncharted (or like Tomb Raider, if you lean more ‘old school’ in your gaming tastes), Wild Life integrates smart sex toys from Lovense to greatly enhance the user’s experience, especially during the game’s sex scenes.
In the game, players guide “Maya” or “Max” in an exploration of a lost world called “Kerpal,” which although beautiful, is packed with hidden hazards of all kinds. The Maya character is a presented as a descendant of Kerpal’s inhabitants, whose colonizing ship crashed on Kerpal ages ago. Maya has adapted to the dangers of the planet, enabling her to survive its many dangers. Max is part of an expedition of Kerpal undertaken by a team of explorers – some of whom are not to be trusted.
The challenge for Maya, Max and the players who guide them is to figure out what the inhabitants of this hidden world truly desire. When they do so, players are rewarded with sexual encounters – but get rejected too often and their chances for intimacy quickly begin to dissipate.
By incorporating sex toys to deliver a truly immersive sexual experience, Wild Life is seeking to do no less than “break the mold on sex in gaming,” the company spokesperson told YNOT. As Maya and Max trek about Kerpal, players are feeling the sexual desire and stimulation of the lead characters right along with them, driving the characters’ sexual encounters with a diverse set of non-player characters – both humanlike and animalistic.
With the haptic technology employed by Lovense toys, gamers don’t simply ‘play’ their way through the game’s sex scenes, they truly experience those scenes, as they engage Maya and Max in foreplay, positional changes and interactive actions like kissing, massaging and after-play.
Nutaku hopes the initial enthusiastic response on the part the platform’s users is a harbinger of great success for Wild Life – and possibly similar titles to come in the future.
“Although it’s early to make any additional announcements at the moment, we’re thrilled for what’s to come and hope this is the start of something new,” the company spokesperson said.
